FIVE POEMS |
---|
CHILDREN'S SPRING GAMES |
The child is the turbulence of the new day that rushes through the depths of spring Green field Green tide Green sound Green foam The child beats the horse with a twig and a flower The horse swings its mane and spreads the sun over joy Green field Green tide Green sound Green foam The youth rides the horse so that he can find his dream on high mountains in the breeding place of the moon |
PATHS |
They speak of the importance of paths Paths are giant hands black and white invisible |
BRIDGES |
Bridges are great transitional links where two mighty rivers combine Bridges are the mountains of departure after all encounters |
HOMES |
Thresholds make it possible to safely descend rapids without overturning Homes are wide fields beneath slopes |
MACEDONIA |
(To the Mothers of Aegean, Pirinic and Vardaric Macedonia) |
Our brain-cortex is a bas-relief map of Macedonia with Aegean Pirinic and Vardaric red mountains Skopje is the heart of Macedonia The Vardaric artery crosses it Macedonian languages are ancient mountains covered by plane-trees everywhere in Macedonia And the marks on the mountains are the history of the wars in Macedonia The language of the people of this land is the bridge to the sea of Macedonia |
