The Art of Haiku

SIX HAIKU
ward silent except
for a sigh - night sister sees
dawn at the window
walking on the moor
one sees heather
the other sky
no bloodstains left on
medieval castle wall — smear
of tourist's choc-ice
still in its frame
that smile
her last
tense and watchful
in corner of field
pissing in the wind
her anxious look
trying to recall
an old memory
