PAUL MURPHY: THE BARDS #11

THE BARDS is a series of single poet selections in flier format, offering an introduction to a particular poet's work. It's an excellent low cost way of becoming familiar with a poet and hopefully will persuade readers to buy more pamphlets and collections.

This issue includes nine poems by Paul Murphy along with a brief biography. He is a poet who enjoys playing with words and building up scenes from an accumulation of image, as this from PAINTING IN A SUSHI BAR:

	Chopsticks, raw fish, raw headache
from wine, beer, screen, fan Geisha girl
This is a fascinating selection of poetry that demands to be reread and is sure to have readers looking for more work by this poet.
