	sharing an umbrella
	your wet left shoulder
	my right one
Spanning 5 years, and privately printed in honour of the World Haiku Festival 2000, these haiku range from the contemporary and acutely personal —
	an I.V. line
	anchors me to the monitor
	thoughts still wander
— to the universal and ageless —
	a light breeze
	the moon in the birdbath
	shivers
Small possibly; but this tiny volume manages to transmit a serene acceptance of its author's lot.
