A BACH PRELUDE |
---|
The patterned calm the running counterpoint the running quavers touching the surface of stillness from where they came the rippling figures over the ground bass which flows in counter melody running deep running deep running deep lapping the rocks stones of time fingers on the keys of a well tempered clavier are as gently imposing as the waters waters of birth lapping out of hearing where the body takes shape the forming eye the patterned calm the rippling figure the counter melody lips rounded in song a calm prelude of a wife running deep deep deep song from the womb well tempered body with rippling figures waters of birth the prelude played the fingers touching air the cry after the stillness of melody body lapping time eye to pattern from birth to the deepest waters. |
