SHIPWRECK
Fire burning him
He has become the fire
Death was in the clinging
To wet boards
Death was in the clinging
Pustular sores cling
On a log raft
Waves are red
With fire
Water burns
He has become the fire
Looped lights spin in him
Toward him
Around him
Fire burning him
He is falling
Tossed by a flick of the universe
Off the globe's side
But into it
